vaqntPay your rent monthly. Your landlord gets the full year on day one.

A year of rent, due in one go — sometimes two. Most people cover it by borrowing from family, emptying savings, or settling for somewhere worse.
Vaqnt settles your landlord in full, then you repay in equal monthly amounts by direct debit, timed to your payday.
Work out your monthly figure
Pick the debit date that follows your payday, or let your employer pay it straight from salary. We remind you before every payment.
Apply with your ID, payslips and bank statement. Once approved, your landlord is paid and the keys are yours.

Every listing is inspected and every landlord checked before it goes live. Tour it in the app, book a viewing, apply.

VerifiedPut a little aside each month. Choose how long to lock it — 3, 6 or 12 months, or until your renewal — and give 30 days’ notice if you need it early.
Savings are held with a CBN-licensed partner bank. Returns are a target, not a promise, and can go down.
Send your landlord an invite by WhatsApp or SMS, or ask us to call them. When they join, you can pay your current home monthly.
No part payments to chase. Every tenant is verified before their plan is approved. Manage every flat, repair and message in one place — and mark a home taken if you let it outside the app.

Enter the rent your landlord asked for. We show the most you’d pay, at 3% a month. Your rate could be lower.
Example at 3% a month, the top of our 2.5%–3% range. Your rate, APR and full terms are shown before you sign. Plans up to ₦3,000,000 a year.
The Vaqnt rent pool funds landlords upfront and is repaid by tenants every month. Buy units from the app after a quick BVN and NIN check, and follow every payment in your portfolio.
Investing puts your money at risk. Returns are not guaranteed and tenants can miss payments. The pool opens to the public only after registration with the SEC Nigeria.

You need to be 18 or over, live in Nigeria, and have a BVN, NIN and a bank account in your name. You should be salaried for at least 6 months, or self-employed with 12 months of bank statements, and the monthly plan should be no more than 40% of your take-home pay.
A one-off origination fee of 3% of the yearly rent, paid when your plan is approved, then interest of 2.5%–3% a month on what you still owe, set by your credit check. On ₦2,400,000 over 12 months at 3%, you pay ₦72,000 at approval, then ₦241,109 a month. No other charges, and you see your exact rate and total before you sign.
Yes. Invite them from the app by WhatsApp or SMS, or ask us to call. Once we’ve verified them, you can pay your current home monthly.
We remind you before each debit. If one fails, we retry over the next 5 days and call you to agree a plan. After 7 days a late fee of 2% of the missed amount applies, and missed payments can be collected under your debit mandate and reported to credit bureaus. Talk to us early.
Once a tenant’s plan is approved and the lease is signed, the full year goes to your verified account. Changing that account has a 48-hour hold, for your safety.
